ROSA FESTIVAL

15th - 18th July 2022 | Seed Low Rake Camping, Peak District, UK, DE45 1UA

ORIGINS

Born during lockdown, Rosa Audio was forged in Sheffield by a mutual passion for soundsystem culture. Amplified by the frustration of social restrictions and the potential destruction of the events industry, Rosa set out to keep the party alive.

The cancellation of music festivals worldwide has given small crews the chance to redefine the scene and re-establish the intimacy lost at modern-day commercial events. Lockdown reminded us of what we missed most about festivals: memorable encounters, dancing with your mates and the liberating feeling of freedom.

Rosa Festival aims to encapsulate this sense of community by cultivating a house party spirit on a festival scale.

THE ROSA MISSION

Located in the most idyllic locations the Peak District has to offer, Rosa Festival is a gathering of like-minded creatives aiming to bring people of all backgrounds together to produce an intimate community feel with the most ultimate of vibes.

Extremely talented artists, musicians and creatives gather in one place to form one of the most exciting events the North has yet to see. A gathering involving the finest emerging talent currently dominating the UK underground music scene, showcasing top tier selectors from genres including reggae, bassline, garage, drum and bass and more.

At its core, the Rosa mission aims to bring all of this together to produce the most unforgettable of weekends with unmatched energy. Energy that will resonate from the Rosa community as it grows for years to come.

CAMPING

A Rosa Festival 2022 ticket includes 3-day camping in one of three camping areas around the site. All three camps are located close to both the festival gate and stages. Free parking is included within your ticket; the car park is located right outside the festival gate. Gates are open from 12:00pm Friday 15th July, from then you can enter the festival until 10:00pm Friday night. Gates will reopen at 12:00pm Saturday and Sunday and remain open until 9:00pm.

Make sure you bring your tent along with some warm clothes. Up high in the Peaks there’s a chance it will get cold during the starry nights. Feel free to bring food, but also enjoy food from our tasty traders, including Sheffield’s legendary John’s Van. Portable barbeques are not allowed, gas stoves are permitted.

Alcohol is available at Rosa from the “Gin Tin” Juniper1933, who has a broad selection of gins, beers, ciders, vodka and more.  All sales made to our traders can be completed via cash or card.

Please don’t bring glass, a list of prohibited items can be found in our Terms and Conditions.

Unfortunately, campervans are not permitted on site. Campfires are strictly prohibited due to damages that would be caused to our beautiful site, but please enjoy the managed campfire areas and meet unfamiliar members of the Rosa Community.
